It's sad to see the jmods just abandoning the forums while fmods are still actively moderating here.

FMods are different from PMods. FMods do a lot of stuff. They are a pretty big deal. I don’t think we’re supposed to talk about PMods much.

And btw, don’t mention if an FMod is a PMod. They don’t like or didn’t used to.

I can’t imagine an FMod having to read all the rants, especially mine, over the years, just in case a rule was broken.

Both pmods and fmods are people I'm guessing talking to them normally would work and not speak on their behalf like some sort of endangered animal xD
The online environment has changed, not a Jagex issue.

Jagex always seems to be trying its best. I dislike some results, but they’re trying. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

oke, but wouldnt it be easier if for example pmods could do something similar so jmods can focus on other aspects that require their attention, im not saying this is a bad setup but it doesnt seem efficient but i might be wrong, or would that add tomuch workload on the pmods?. or am i getting too creative with my ideas overall...

Nope.

Players should never be given any jmod powers as that would get highly abused and wouldnt end well.

Plus what do pmods have to do with the forums anyways? They have no power here and i thought you were discussing about fmods?

after checking out the link from tren i saw pmods are the highest in hierarchy so thats what i was kinda aiming at.

but as purpose for the forums so i guess fmods should get similar rights like pmods in that case?.
unless i read the link wrong which might be the case.

what im aiming at is that from my perspective sometimes it looks like when something obviously bad happens, mods cant always swiftly take action because their guidelines are really strict(what i assume). isnt it possible with the goal of maintaining the forums in mind, making it less strict for mods so "issues" can removed faster or when a person is a known problem maker he/she gets strikes, like 2 or 3 times sure, but lets say in 1 hour 10 times that the consequences are based on the severity or amount of issues that the trouble maker inflicts. that way people think twice before making issues on the forums. or will this make ppl leave the forums for reasons?.

Whats this "hierarchy" you speak of?

Last i checked both pmods and fmods are treated equal its just that their powers effect different things.

One monitors the forums while the other does so ingame.

Thus ones not "above" the other.

Before you meantion the page tren posted, that only lists the different types of mods.

Just because pmods are listed before fmods doesnt mean ones "better" or w/e than the other.

Its just how jagex made the page.

Raphtalia is more knowledgeable than most. She just asks people questions to make us feel helpful

Ok and this has what to do with whats being discussed?

She and many others made this a nice place to be. The opposite of you since you asked, and no, we won't leave, and no to your next stupid follow-up question :)

what i mean is the acces part from each of the mods, when talking about if it is possible to expand this a little (doesnt have to be in being able to ban ppl or something) it can also be in a way to make it easier for fmods to allow them to act swifter by making their rule set less strict.

with the hierarchy i dont exactly mean their status but i mean their power effects like you pointed out.

the forum rules are often open to flexibility to kind of walk around the rules and still do stuff you shouldnt do. this is 1 example of something that could be looked at.
