You have to consider the fact that h'ween masks are also part of a set, whose total value far exceeds that of a santa. I've only recently started playing again (as of 2017), and from what I've seen red h'ween and santas are what have been tied closely, not green to santa. I vaguely remember that being the case also back in 2007 -- I was debating between buying red h'weens or santas from what I recall for when I quit, but I'm not about to dig through that many forum threads to see if there are even records from back then.

Whilst I agree
santa hats
are grossly overpriced considering their rarity (or lack thereof), 100m is still too low, they're actual price is valued around 450m,

Edit: BECAUSE MY REASONABLE POST WAS REMOVED, I am going to reiterate what I said that was on-topic and phrased by many others in this thread. H’weens are trash rares, overpriced and unimpressive in game. As Harvnation said, they’re not worth anything except for cash holding purposes. Even so, if you need to hold cash, these players can tend to afford partyhats. They are much better at this, and not a fake rare.

well taking on difficult tasks has never been jagex's strong point. everyone can manip and nothing matters anymore. :( WAAAGH!!!
