There was a dupe. Purple (pink) was rarest; then, it wasn’t.
I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

Strangely, in rs classic, blue was king as usual, but then pink returned as champ. I don’t know how that happened. This was just before rs classic was closed. If pink is so common, why did it become most valuable again?

Purp never "recovered" at any point in RSC after the dupe. Purp leap frogging Green and Yellow is a recent trend (last couple of years). RSC Phat price ended like this: Blue <-- Green <--White <--- Yellow <---- Red <---- Purp/Pink. You seem like you’d know better than I. I bought a blue in rsc before it closed and was told pink was higher. Maybe I misunderstood. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? I know most don't agree with me, but I like the old graphics of even rsc.
I'm not familiar with the game, but Stardew Valley was a big hit using poor graphics, pretty sure. It was written by just one person, at least mostly. All of those facts could be wrong, but anyway.
My point: I think there's a market for fun game, bad graphics. It's easy on the computer, easy to write, good all around. Low cost, fun. But we can't go back, of course.
