Once we know the oddment costs, you can sort of predict what the GE value of the tokens will be - if one walk is say, 20k oddments, all you gotta do is work out the average oddments you gain per key on a certain promo (can be easily done), then multiple by the number of bonds or TH key's you'd need to get said oddments.
E.G: 22 keys per bond, a bond is 22m GP = that's 1m GP per key. Let's say the best promo, for oddments, for sake of argument, is Rainbows end, where you get on average 50 oddments per key. 400 keys, 50 oddments a pop = 20k oddments - so it'll cost 400m to get it if buying with IG bonds.
Obviously the above is just an illustration, but you get my point.
Gonna have to disagree with this.
As players we all gain oddments passively by getting free keys. I have tens of thousands of oddments on my main and have accumulated 10s of thousands on my alts. I imagine many other players are the same.
There is also the fact that buying keys at 50% off and using them on loot duels results in a significant oddment profit. Oddments are easy to get.

I second this, also not to mention that if you have in mind to save oddments and not spend on lamps but only on your walk, everyone will eventually get it overtime.

^ Well, yeah, the 2nd option is to passively try and accumulate the 100-200 oddments you get a day for free, but it's whether you want to get it relatively quickly, or wait 3-4 months for it. I'd of picked the former if I was genuinely interested in getting a particular walk...

Most people will just wait until the item crashes

Yeah, there's a concentrated effort even right now by a FC to tell people Jagex won't stand true to their promise.
I hope people will use their intellect and trust Jagex over scam artists.

anyone seen the announcement about the new market place?. seems they are quick on the task!. 7 june is the date of release.
trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

i read this announcement as prep for mobile release, making buy in app more user friendly
Gonna laugh when you nerds are disappointed because Jagex always promises things they never deliver. During the live stream they specifically stated that re-releasing the walks was put on the back burner, wouldn't expect it anytime soon, if ever.

The only one that sounds on the verge of tears in this thread so far is you unironically.
