Imo there is clear maniping/panicing of all people/players.

The fact that a White Phat has gone up 12B in the last week clearly shows a single example of this. There should be in my opinion a statement from Jagex saying that they're releasing the numbers of these items (to show the population how rare these are) therefore making the price stay at some form of possible constant.

OR

And this will honestly never happen cause it will destroy the market (kinda the point if it does happen) there should be a re-release of rares like OSRS making anyone and everyone able to get whatever they want (yes a lot of people WILL have an issue with this statement).

Why would I propose something so drastic?

Simply cause in the near future (with how the manip/panic is going) some items will be OVER the max shard (53,687,091,175) trade value. Meaning that people will need to use other rares/items to buy others. People say to add another currency worth more then 25gp/ but then that'll mean that people are able to say I want a max stack of (example of 100gp item) which would be 214,748,364,700.

Also the only ways which allows people to barely keep up with the current inflation rate pvm wise is Telos - 2.5k% Claims, camping AoD or Duoing Vorago for Energies - the reason why I say these methods is because they consistently allow steady gp income which has been tested many times over. Otherwise all other money makers are almost pointless when going for such massive amounts of money that seems to be going up by 3-4B per day.

You could also argue the fact that Merching is a good way to make money (and it is I personally use it passively) but the main issue with merching as a money maker can be summed up in a single phrase 'Money makes more Money' if you say have 10b to work with (first off good job) and you get 3% ROi per month it's only 1.255b profit per year (yes this is a simple example I'm well aware 3% is a low bar to set). 153rd

About the manips, yes its insane. Really hoping for some kind of solution from jagex to stop this. Read your post prometheum about a rare store, it's kinda fair. Don't like the idea of new rares to enter tho, but to buy and sell rares that already exist to a NPC for fixed prices is fair.

After enjoying huge margins and a prolonged rise merchants are now suddenly complaining about "manipulation" ?
Is it because they had a bad timing with their last sale?

Almost everyone in the merchant community is guilty of manipulation to some extend,by selectivly posting their buys and sells.

(not meant at trip specifically btw,as i believe he is one of the more "fair" merchants).

(not meant at trip specifically btw,as i believe he is one of the more "fair" merchants). Ty, the rise was more real than many seem to believe; however, several were posting fake prices, especially after rares began to fall.

Just like people generally didn't believe the dxp dip, few seem to believe the extent of the recent rise.

What irks me is I fell for the "40b white; 50b blue" fake report, then tried to sell based on those prices. No one wanted them. I think now phats are lower than their peaks; so, the 22b yellow is difficult to believe, though still possible.

I might have some set of standards, but I sometimes sell for more, or offer to buy for less, than most others. I don't claim my offers are "fair"; people should just trade when they want to.

Often I can't even keep my connection long enough to make a trade; so, I mean, I'm not so much a merchant as just a guy who stands in w2. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

Usually the ones shouting manip are the ones that can't afford to merch the items they're investing in.
