Imo, rares have peaked.
Today, however, the demand for phats was overwhelming. Almost no sellers until this evening. People were demanding hats, but there were no sellers. So, the prices just got higher and higher.
That might not sound like a peak, but lacking any evidence, I believe we've peaked. Time will tell. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

Anyway,noone truly quits runescape. Everyone comes back eventually if only casually.
Hats have broken free,the suply has completely dried up. The only hats you see for sale are yellows and the occasional purple and green. The other hats are gone,not for sale anymore.
Well i guess they are for sale if the price is right,which right now it obviously is not.
Big jump for hats incoming,maybe the final jump when supply has dried up which often marks the end of the rise but thats hard to say.
Blue to 40b,white 28b,red 20b. Within a few months maybe even.
And if they dont go up but "crash" (aka drop 10%) then its even better.
You can not go wrong if you have both hats and coins,always profit no matter what happens.
Masks are undervalued when compared to santa and so are hats. Masks i dont know,there is no real demand for them in the end other then merchants while demand for partyhats is virtually unlimited.

I will likely return someday, and my bank is positioned well for that, which is exciting.
But the reason for my departure is that I am taking on new responsibilities at my job, and I just will not have the time for RS, sadly. I am also dealing with some medical issues related to a military deployment a number of years ago, that I need to sort out.
It was definitely a fun experience returning to and playing RS again, which has always been my favorite, and most nostalgic video game, and hopefully I will have a period of time in the future where I will get to play again.
And you're right, no one truly ever quits Runescape.
Feel free to keep the thread going. I think it's an important thread for the community to have, and it would be a shame if it fizzled out.
