Please, no spirit shards. Platinum tokens are much more practical.

Platinum tokens might be more practical for use but it will come with other challenges. The spirit shard option is at least a bridge between what we have now and a new higher currency.

Might as well support the shards to shard pack conversion idea, as well as increasing number of shard packs for sale. W2's local swapper on the SW block, Trades broker, and PvP Events Host

Yeah, but if they wanted to make them tradeable it would be better to get a new currency instead since a pack is 125k gp, but the idea to making spirit shards convertible to shard packs is just basically like a bridge step. This will crash party hat prices in the short-term giving merchers another opportunity to buy them out. Won't really solve anything in the longer-term it will be similar to the cornet of spring that anyone can get from the Diango store, while COS trades at 100m. The superior man thinks of virtue; the small man thinks of comfort.

IMO the cornets by them selves look pretty ugly.

Which mercher bought them out in the first place? Point them out.

Only similarity between COS and Partyhats is that they both significantly increased in price. COS only increased due to hoarding, partyhats are up there in price because of many factors that are leading to a lack of trades.

Phats increasing over time in price is not really an issue as long as there are rises and drops. That being said this change does solve something which is that whatever the price of phats at least people could have a decent looking chromatic phat. Over the years I've seen people ask for a rework on the chromatic partyhat and since partyhats are so high in price at the moment, they won't be significantly devalued to the point that they reach new all time lows since after 2017.

This was a suggestion from another thread that was made before mine, I happened to have thought about adding a floating aspect to the crown as well but the revenant walk was what made me think about it.

Though the Chromatic Partyhat is meant to be a joke item, it still takes a little bit of dedication to get and I do like to show it off, but unlike regular party hats, the Chromatic one is disconcertingly elevated on the head, to the point of floating, so its even more silly and jarring then it needs to be. If it could be lowered to fit better over the hair it would make it look more cool but still retain the wackiness its meant too have.
