If jagex decided to bring back old rares from banned/inactive accounts into the economy, how big of an influx of would you think it'd be? I've heard many people say there's a lot more phats/santas etc than people believe. Do you think there are more og rares stored away on old accounts compared to newer rares like wreath/scythe or even bsh?

They gave everyone their opportunity to get a golden partyhat. A partyhat is an end game item that everyone is not supposed to be able to afford. They want to control the manipulation that happens with the price. that is why they are rasing the g.e limit to they can be traded within the g.e. and the price can go off of that rather than by what a few players decide to report. There are plenty of partyhats left in the game, most of them are just on inactive accounts or people that have them and choose not to sell them ever, because again, they are an end game item.

So what happens if someone appeals a ban and it gets removed and their account comes back? All their wealth goes missing? They quash perm bans all the time. If that person gets their account back does that mean they should give their rares back that they sold in the g.e.?

Jagex manually investigate banned accounts. This would work for the accounts that have broken the rules serious enough for Jagex to decide they don't deserve their account back.

The accounts that this happen too, could be carefully selected.

Support for bank bidders on banned accs but not for inactive. Sometime ppl just take a break. This isn't really a rerelease of rares, more like a redistribution of existing ones. Would be great timing to add this when ge limit gets increased.

Talking about perma ban accounts. You know as well as I do there are bans that you cannot appeal.

phats were never meant to be considered end game items. they were meant to be just silly fun cosmetics to wear. calling them endgame content is ridiculous. end game content would be bosses and high level gear and equipment, or comp cape. the list goes on.
