I fully support this but knowing jagex, they will enjoy seeing their players whine.

I saw it with osrs pker community, they give stupid updates just to trigger us then allow us to argue with ironmen in discord as a solution.

Some clanmates and I were just speaking on this. One of them, I thought, had a good theory: Because Jagex announced last year the GSH was not going to be discontinued, the price never took off as we'd all expected. Due to this, the clarity is speculated to be hush-hush due to the higher in price an item from TH, the more keys will be sold. Kinda' like the Aurora Dye - why would they confirm it's future at this point :P ? It certainly sucks for the players' expectations if that's the practice, moving forward.. - (Owner) Ornery Onions -

Seriously dude. What inside intel do you really think a player/forum moderator has. "Well forum moderator doesn't have it on the list of the discontinued items so it must not be"

Jagex keeps players in the dark -> price doesn't crash -> re-releases the item -> scapers hit the slot machine -> Price crashes -> Jagex makes money.

Rinse and repeat for the next item lmao, seems like token hype died down so now they are doing it with the dyes/quasi rares will come back to tokens at some point.

Any TH item that is expensive or in high demand is literally free money waiting there to be taken by jagex at some point.

@Tuffty, can you please have your team correct their grammar on that page??

DISCONTINUED ITEMS:
Discontinued ..... Halloween mask, Party hat, Santa hats.

They do not use plural forms of the noun on mask nor party hat but do on santa hat. This is not proper grammar since there are 4 different Halloween masks now, 7 party hats and 3 santas. It's really not fair that it is written poorly and like others said GSH has been confirmed not discontinued yet written there like it is (Santa hats).

My guess they intentionally FUD (fear uncertainty doubt) RS3 rares market so osrs players can get their paws on some from merchers before they confirm them discontinued. they also have been artificially increasing value of all osrs pvm items to give them more buying power. osrs players not going to solve crack clue for many months so buckle up friends.

they are in no hurry to announce anything because we are all still paying membership.

I could be completely wrong btw

Fixing this will clear up a lot. Tufty brought the subject up so I think it's fair game topic.

We will watch for the update. This is some of the behavior that the UK parliament was looking at in 2019 as far as Jagex being above board on TH or just fishing f0r keys. If I ever contribute to that inquiry this will be linked.

Keep in mind that Tuffty is a volunteer. He’s just a player of rs, like you. He wants to be respectful to Wildcat, who likely isn’t on all the time.

I doubt the FMod page has any legal status. Jagex legally owns all of our items. FMods just do things as a group to help players.

The rubber Turkey was supposed to be discontinued. It now returns, every year. If you want to prevent that from happening again, maybe dig up just where Jagex promised items would be discontinued. I doubt most, if anyone, at Jagex remembers that far back. Someone told me none still understand the coding used by rsc servers. Employees come and go; Jagex gets bought and sold.

Anyway, threatening Tuffty is senseless. He’s just a player who wants to help others enjoy the game. FMods are somewhat a relic that I doubt could be replaced, only lost. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(
