I think you'll find Black Santa Hat is more like 20 odd billiion

Jagex are quoted in saying they're not looking to discontinue this, there is no need for it to be THAT rare. Disappointed personally

Plus all other santas are worth over 2-3b each so it only makes sense this would too.

thus with 20 being over 2-3, i was still right.

In fact thats false, once this event end, the gsh wont be available till jagex makes it so again in the future.

So even though they said it wont be perm discontinued, it will be temporarily until they release it again.


Thus with both other santas being worth so much, it only makes sense that this one should be too.

You don't get a rare? Neither do I. Too bad, but somebody are luckier than us. Many of them actually. Just read social media posts and vids like this:

Game continue to die and lose players every year? Which game? Doesn't look like RS3 is dying and losing players every year. Actually this month's concurrent players so far is at its highest point dating all the way back to 2013:

Yes the game is absolutely going to die now because of this new rng based green santa hat, i'm so glad that you finally figured it out.
They should make every new piece of content easily accessible for every single player out there and completely annihilate everything rng related, including boss drops and events.

Now on a serious note. If you really want this new hat so badly, just go ahead and buy one.
I think you walked in to this event with to much expectations? You really shouldn't do that.

Agreed.

Just because you seemingly dont like rng, doesnt mean they should change how the game distributes things.

I mean you dont see ppl complaining about hardly anything else rng related so why is this so different?
