It's important to realize there is a vast differencec between the active playerbase and concurrent online player numbers. According to the site mmo-population, currently runescape 3 is estimated to have 500k daily active players and over 1 million total active players.

You had to be a member to make a Golden Phat

I am 100% sure most players just kept their Phats since it's one of a lifetime event, won't ever happen again

You do realise as time goes on the supply becomes shorter and shorter? players go inactive, players quit, players move on thousands of Golden Phats will be lost, just like with the original ones

And do you not understand the buying power of hoarders/merchants? Even if there were double the amount of Phats than active players, some of us can still hoard 50 - 100 each with ease.

I don't think it will be 10b by next year, but the real question is, how fast can merchants manipulate it to max cash? from there, the hat is in their hands.

EDIT: Prices rising and falling don't always make sense, infact most of the time, they do the opposite of what would seem logical.

If that's accurate then scratch my last post. My impression was that there was at most 10k-20k active players.

Okay, maybe it'll go up then haha I don't know. Not I feel silly pretending to "know" where prices will go.

I guess we're all just pawns and none of us know what will happen :D
