I'd probably say there will be between 2000-10k Golden Phats in-game at the end of the event.

As the price drops, less and less of the casual players will bother obtaining one, same goes with the rich players, they will most likely just buy it.

Not many will actually spend at least 30+ hours to obtain one, that's what I think.

Half the shards needed you can just get right away the other half you can get while you afk skill or pvm...
I got mine yesterday without even going for it, all i had to do was buy 1 shard for 30m and do the quest and the rest i got passively tbh

With that said there might not be 100k+ with these rates, all depends how low they go.
IF people start buying them up ppl will just alt/bot them cause you can make 1 every like 15h average mostly afk

So at 500m each running 5 alts thats an easy 150m/h probs, which is pretty good for a lot of people.
Kinda effort but there's a lot of people alt scaping nowadays

Come on now Le Me, ain't you maxed in every skill? Your daily routine is just to skill, do PVM and clues?

Of course you wanted the free 2b, so you went for it, because you knew the first ones would sell for this.

Are you really saying you were not trying to collect the shards and spend at least 2 hours on each of the activities, yet you managed to get it on day 1?

Your RNG is really good then! xD

Also my point is, players are lazy. Especially on RS3 where they can just buy everything.

nope i clue and pvm every day, thats 3 shards right there. I had to do some pots for pvming and i got the artisans shard or whatever.

1 from wise 1 from 30m 1 from quest and 1 from premier and there you go

I got it kinda passively and most people that already do a variety in stuff in game probably will too. Those people aren't the problem though probably, the problem is how good is it to alt for profit.

After yak track is out any fresh account can probably grind for one...

Sorry to say it but you are wrong, yet again. It takes double less time than what you wrote and any fresh account can do it, especially with yak track coming next week.
The action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.
