It's the rarest drop of the entire event and we definitely don't expect this to be a 'everyone who plays will find one' sort of situation by any means.

Your best chances come from finding a Gold Present, where you'll get either the Green Party Hat or 50M GP. You CAN find it in the other presents, but the chance is much much smaller as you go down the rarities.
The action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.

I am disappointed they made a recolor of an original rare but are not discontinuing it. I am thankful they confirmed it is not discontinued, though. I figured it was not going to be discontinued because we just got the GPH, which was confirmed discontinued. Then we get the GSH and had no mention of it being discontinued. I have no interest in owning a green santa hat now since they will release it again.

What's even more sad is there's a bunch of people out there buying the green santa right now thinking it's a discontinued and Jagex only stated this in a Reddit post. I'll try to pick up a green santa in january just one to see if my investment paid off, hopefully not too big a loss or a no profit/no loss scenario. Would have been nice for two discontinued rares in a row though.

Absolutely.

Yea that is true. I would be so mad, but at the same time those people should have done more research before buying.
