What it looks like to me is, that the person from the Support Team just copy pasted something that was related to the Green Santa Hat

The Support Team Twitter is ran by different people, who work at the Jagex Support

The actual Jagex "RuneScape" Twitter is ran by the community managers

Also, the Support Twitter is usually always under fire because of the useless information they provide, and that's why it's so funny to me that you're just rolling with what they said xD

Now that new wrapping paper is done being distributed, I'm curious to see how it'll affect the fear of missing out factor this month; despite reportedly not being a Discontinued Item O_o .

i used 60 alts during last month and handed over 400k paper, 1 gold present, 50m reward, no green santas

also bought some keys with bonds + used keys from oddments in all my alts, doing daily 300 keys for over a week during promo, totalling easily over 3k keys, also no green santa

so imo its extremely rare or im just an unlucky person

about it not being discontinued, i do think jagex will change their stance, during the last couple weeks ive read countless dumb ppl expressing in public chat how much they spent in keys, jagex did a nice plan, first only with paper, many ppl buying keys cuz there was 40 paper every key used, some ppl spending thousands of dollars, then putting it in th, more ppl buying more keys, from the business side they must have profited so so much. If they want to keep profiting this much, next year there will be a blue santa, and then a purple santa, and there we go, if they keep re-releasing same items, ppl will stop the fomo spending and business wise its not so good for them

rarity wise, its much more rare than red santa, maybe not as rare as black but like i said, some ppl were lucky, some like me not so much

Kinda have to agree. They cant really re-release it after so many keys where bought with the goal to get the GSH.

A new color would be nice. So that eventually there will also be a santa set similar to the partyhat set and the mask set.

The item has dropped a bit again though it seems to be higher then the previous bottom at least for now.

GPH is also down again and the old rares are up. No matter what they release it wont be as desireable as a classic partyhat i think.

they will probably try cashing in here and then on new rare items like this for a few years, and then when everyone starts complaining gsh is too high or whatever they will re-release it and make people happy while they fill their pockets
