turned in about 150k paper. no gold present. Did get the green santa from TH though, after maybe 700 keys. Not a purple present but a bonus reward. Sold it straight away. It's not discontinued so meh, I honestly can't fathom why it is worth so much, other than short-sighted hype. And tbh I think it's kinda ugly, but I never liked the color green.
this was a mistake.. currently have been watching saw it go from 1 bil + to lowest 825 mil... now its currently up to 1.4 bil and climbing
i personally have made over 1.5 bil in buying and selling quick
Yeah, tbh it caught me off guard how much they went up. I still think it's weird and they will level out after a while when people sober up. I mean at the very least it will get cheaper next xmas. Oh well, I'm not too bummed about it since I made bank off of these items already.
Probability of getting one from the holiday event is extremely low. I exchanged around 70 - 80k paper and got exactly zero gold gifts. I see others have done even more with no golds at all as well. Got one from TH though, which I will most likely keep for myself (at least for some time).
Also, the price was quite stable between 3.5 - 4.5b before the TH promotion was released. Upon the release, it dropped below 1b within like an hour or two.
Taking the above facts into consideration, GSH is nearly pure TH rare, but still, I personally like it.
Happy new year!

I like how the Green Santa Hat took everyones attention away from the Gift Wrapped Scythe and Frosted Wreath which were confirmed to actually be rare/discontinued

There is a guy on twitch that spent 58 billion on bonds and used 14400 keys and turned in over 700k wrapping paper he got from the keys. He got 8 green santa hats from the keys and 3 gold presents, only 1 being a green santa hat, from the paper.

I used over 10K keys and got only one santa.

That's how gambling works. Guess it could have been for demonstration only, but should it be for the hats alone, buying nearly 1k bonds makes no sense, especially when calculating with variables like knowledge that the item will be rereleased in future, price of bonds vs price of GSH, etc.
