I feel like supply is high too many fomoed when it jumped 1.2b+ all buy walls broke down now its somewhere around 800m. I don't think the average player is selling, its alt farmers making new accounts for quick bills. Many merchers that are buying in are expecting it to jump after the event they could be right, or the opposite could happen idk. It would have been better if jagex had made it similar to the GPH where mems is required to get one so they at least have to buy mems and put in effort which makes the process slow. With this they are just creating new accounts and hitting the slot machine.

lets get down to brass tacks here people..
alot of you have been doing this for a very long time
when the dust settles ,, where do you all think the price of green santa hats are going to fall?
close to blacks? close to reds?
give us your opinions after all this is a discussion .. so lets discuss
Around 4-500m after the event and the new hype of it dies.
Also any decent smart mercher will not invest long term in a item that will be brought back.
the hype isnt what drives the price. Rarity and quantity does. The original santa hat crashed at one point, too. At it's lowest point, it was 3mil. And then it skyrocketed not too long after.
I'll stick to the idea that Jagex has no intention of re-releasing the green santa. They can say they "are open to the idea", but the intent in my eyes is to keep players guessing for as long as they are able. The value of a rare is in its rarity. If Jagex just comes out and says "oh yes, you'll never see this again", it ruins the point of a rare. And again, I argue the fact that no other santa is being recycled. They are more likely to bring in a different color santa than they are to say "ok, lets bring this santa back! Cause, oh i dont know, f^*$ the color green?!".
