None, as Jagex in many occasions mentioned they don't look to specifically rework an area. Graphics updates of points of interest come with content update of that area (e.g. Dragnor Manor got reworked with new Halloween event, Fally entrance of the Dwarven Mine was reworked with the release of the Travelling Artisan).

The last time the RS3 team talked about such reworks, they said there will be significant updates each coming with major content updates. So we probably should get plenty of updates in many areas instead of just 1 region.

While I understand what you're getting at, there are plenty of areas of the game that haven't been touched in over 10 years and are in dire need of a graphical update. Which shouldn't have to wait for some quest or event being put in that area to give it a rework. One place I can think of is ooglog and everything around that area. It's very outdated and off putting.

All kinds of games ignores outdated content, why should RS3 be an exception?

Why should RuneScape fall in line with every other mmo? If I were a new player and I saw how much of the game was graphically outdated I'd be turned away from it, but that's just me. Either way, saying it's okay to have graphically outdated areas in the game because other mmo's also have graphically outdated areas isn't a very good point. Instead of adding more new content, we should be working on making current content look better and work better.

OSRS is far more graphically outdated. They even have to rely on Runelite HD. If you were a new player would you be turned away from it?

You are a very high level player, perhaps you don't know new players in RS3 start in new areas and those Davendale, Ashdale and Burthorpe have modern graphics.

yeah and old school is meant to have graphics from 2007. lol it's supposed to have that nostalgic look. runescape 3 shouldn't have graphics that look like they were from the year 2007.

They invested a lot of "graphical development budget" in Sennisten/Elder God Wars Dungeon as a Quest Area AND a 4 step/phased in area for the GWD.
They also redid the Duel Arena which they partially justified as a fix for gambling/abuse and tying into the EGWD release.
The Digsite got reworked for the Anachornia release AND Archaeology was about a year after that.
Falador took about a year to rework when you also factor in the QA for it ... which is probably why they have avoided doing Varrock and Ardougne (one thing to do the small areas around it like the GE and PoF ... another to do the whole area due to quests etc)

So I'd probably temper expectations in the mid-term for any serious area updates.
Dilbert is quite correct, expect it to be more small/targeted updates because the devs were already doing something to that spot.

for example, instead of a full Varrock rework, we'd see the Cooking Guild updated because a dev did something for that.

Then please explain why most OSRS players play on Runelite with more modern graphics instead of the official OSRS client with "nostalgic look"?

Again, RS3 have modern graphics for new players and they specifically spent a lot of time implementing NEW PLAYERS EXPERIENCE in Davendale, Ashdale and Burthorpe.

To correct your comment which I highlighted, expect them to be SIGNIFICANT graphics updates that come with many new updates in 2022. SIGNIFICANT is the precise word, not "small" RS3 developers told us.
