^so you don't care if something worth millions or billions comes back but as soon as someone mentions a rubber chicken that has no value and can't be sold, coming back, then it's all hell breaking loose. I don't understand this at all.

Me? I have no problem whatsoever if rubber chicken comes back or not whatsoever.

But think? Why rubber chicken in a Christmas event? I'll guess if rubber chicken drops, it probably will be likelier on an Easter event where they originally came from.

I only said rubber chicken because it was the first item that came to mind but you know what I mean. If people are saying they don't care if rares make a reappearance then there should be no reason why holiday items that literally have no value shouldn't be brought back. Let's not sit here and act like hypocrites. and no, i'm not calling you specifically, a hypocrite. I'm just saying there's people who will literally sit there and tell you 'no, i don't want these old holiday items coming back because I earned those items and they mean a lot to me' but then turn around and also say 'man, they should just re-release these rares already. I want one.'

I have absolutely no problems for any "rares" making a reappearance. You are absolutely barking up the wrong tree and calling the wrong person "hypocrite".

OK. So Rubber Turkey is not discontinued now, but as I mentioned:

"TBH, I don't care about all those "they are discontinued" or "no, they aren't discontinued" beliefs. I am more interested in the speculative nature of the events instead of the items."

If we get them in this year's Christmas event, great. If they don't, still great to me.

Raffle? Perhaps with more rewards including real world membership prizes?

Of course, only 18+ players not residing in gambling restricted countries/states/cities can participate in the real world prizes raffle, while the rest can win the usual virtual prizes with no real world values such as Golden gear, lamps and Portable Deposit Boxes.

Sadly I imagine that any Christmas event will be tied into MTX.

I am hoping that we get something like

2011 Christmas event
2012 Christmas event ( a Stray in the manger is my favorite)
2013 Christmas event ( Ironically it involved Zammy lol)

Any of these non token farming events would be ideal. Time to follow an trail of Treasure.
