That strawpoll about the interest of the gamemode is meaningless, because a lot of ppl didnt even saw it.

For Group Ironman I can only say that me and my friends that I actually met ingame are very hyped about it and will start playing it as soon as it will be released. For us it doesnt matter if its not perfect in the beginning, a shared bank etc. can just be implemented later. It will be great content for new and veteran players, will increase the rate of memberaccounts being created even further and there will be a huge platform for streamers playing together making the game we all love even more popular.

Even if some people are not really into the Idea of Group Ironman it will be great for the game.

So I have had this question sticking to me for a while now...

Does creating this group mean that you have to start over completely with the accounts and link them to a group at the start? Or will existing ironman accounts be able to join the group once this mode has been released?

I hope someone with knowledge of the group ironman content is able to reply to me instead of others who aren't entirely sure about it.

"Onboarding: How will I make a group?

To create an account eligible for the mode, you will need to create a new account and select the ‘Group Ironman mode’ drop down on the character creation screen when you first log in.

Upon creating your character with the drop down selected you’ll be sent to the Ironman guild!

From here you’ll find yourself in the group creation room, you won’t be able to leave this room until you have got your group and are ready to venture into the wider world as a team."

So, you will have to start a new account. The cake is not a lie!

With engine work, would it make it easier to use the same structure as stealing creation teams? forget about all this advanced stuff like group banking and ironman hub for the meantime, just make a vanilla mode.
