Just allow unlockables to be tradable (fire cape, torso, defenders etc) and ill be happy. Maybe a communal pet pool too? there should be as little personal achievement to display as there should be group achievement to display
I love to be able to trade things like attuned crystal weapons, and DG rewards. That way, i can give my m8 the bonecrusher or charming imp. While im fishing for a few days, he can do bang out some slayer and get some gains.

Are you really considering using developing time on game content who 60% of your player base don't want to use? And how many of that 40 % will play this mode longer than 6 months? How many Ironman started and stoped within 6 months?
It is a nice idea - but please be honest I don't think you should continue development on a project that cost that many time and has that little interest. There are really more important things to do.
I think developing something that only 40% of players intend to use is very much a
good
use of their time. One of the things I've always liked about the way Jagex does things is that they don't only cater to the majority. RuneScape by its nature is a freeform game where players are encouraged to explore and interact with the game however they see fit, and Jagex sticks to that concept. One of the greatest problems that plagues MMOs these days is that, money-wise, it pays to cater to the majority all the time. However if you never do anything besides what the majority supports, you usually end up with a very stagnant game that drives away all types of players except those who belong to the majority group.
RuneScape has catered a bit to the majority in more recent years, after the whole "noXPwaste" style of gameplay took off. And of course there was the very controversial addition of microtransactions that even though I don't support, I can understand. But at its heart, it remains uncorrupted in its freedom of gameplay. And that is why, as long as it's genuinely a good idea that is original and creative, it doesn't matter if it only has as little as 10-20% support. It should be added to the game. Not every update should be at 10-20% support of course, but the point is to have a variety of updates that caters to a variety of player types, not just the largest group.

I appreciate all the work everyone is putting into this project, single ironman mode does not appeal to me, but if I can play with just my buddys and we can pool our efforts to create a great game experience without outside help we're all 3 making group ironman accounts. I hope this comes soon
