Or hop, if the player happends to play on a potato and miss out the hit.
I don't find it annoying. It rarely happens anyway so I don't see an issue with this. You need 1 hit on clawdia and you get the rewards.
I need my blue charms back.

Why not allow DTD to be useable on Clawdia, 10 seconds after she has spawned? This will allow any player paying attention to get a few hits on her, before she is insta-killed by whoever wants to use them there. You get no XP anyway from killing her, so i'm sure no one would object to the fight lasting 10 seconds, provided they haven't been blocked in getting the reward.

Agreed.
I can support a 20sec or so time frame where they are unuseable right after she spawns, but not unuseable completely.
