So we are going to have yet another new training method in a couple of months. This time it construction training with the community instead of being a loner in our POH.

Community Construction is exactly what I have suggested on top of Player Owned Content.

I am looking forward to have more Community Owned Content on top of all the growing and growing Player Owned Content in RS3.

Your thoughts on the new community construction training methods? What do you want to see there on top of mentioned features?

You seem to have forgotten the construction contracts ;) that's ok, we all seem to forget they existed so we did not have to be an loner in our POH.

I have a feeling that this will be exactly like the instanced POP and that would make it quite lonely still. From the looks of it we will be managing some sort of trading inside the fort we build ( so like POP or Arch missions).

Overall I hope that it ties into the storyline and the new quest. Time to follow an trail of Treasure.

Umm, You get to see your fellow Scaper doing a contract in the area you are working in? Did you forget when it launched nearly every player was working in the same building as you? That's what I would define as community and interaction. I don't get why you would argue this point because the whole point of contraction contracts was to be more interactive and out of the POH. Thus community involvement.

Right.
it does not mean you will see another player in the chapel with you. It means that the fort you are making will have people in it that will use it for their " communal" needs. Unless this is actually an community event, than building it will be instanced.

"The player will be tasked with building a fort to the north east of Varrock. There, they will be able to process Construction materials into full buildings, and then go on to upgrade
their
facilities into higher tiers for improved benefits." Time to follow an trail of Treasure.

Right.

What? Seeing other players without absolutely no interaction means it is not a solo activty?

Your definition of a community event is certainly not what Jagex has been doing in RS3. For instance, we don't have to interact with other players directly in community divination training, but our actions benefit each other.

may not be what Jagex has in mind either. Until we know more about the update, we can only speculate on what it actually means.

I have more than assumption because it is a known fact that RS3 has official community training worlds for divination, cooking among other skills. Obviously they aren't instanced and we train with others players. Why not community prayer training too?

We know from the End of the Year Livestream definitely the new construction method is (1) not instanced, (2) not another player owned content and (3) SOCIAL.

We will be training in a cozy SOCIAL manner. I think they said we are not going to just construct buildings there, we need to defend them. So there may be random events we need to fend off?

They also said they are planning on a lot more buildings than shown. Looks pretty good for the theme of a big Fortress for a large city instead of just a tiny player owned home for loners.

You were right, I will give you that :)

The fort will be updated over the next two years as the story progresses
It will launch with a mini quest to introduce the players to claiming the fort. Time to follow an trail of Treasure.
