I think it will be more like POF where you can still interact with players but work on your own thing. At POF you don't see other players animals so why on fortress is it not possible for the same mechanics

We already know it is not like any of the Player Owned Content. It is not instanced.

Everyboy will be seeing and sharing the same Communal Chapel, Market Place and sun in the open world.

You may think of it as Players or Community Owned Content, but definitely not Player (singular) Owned Content.

Everything I mentioned from the original reveal lifestream last year on the communal nature of Fort Forinthry is further proven with today's livestream and developer blog on the Runesape.com website,

We are going to be sharing with what we built with different players.

Fort Forinthry is essentially the new Skilling Hub, similar to War's Retreat being the PvM Hub.

So the New Foundations buildings have been previewed now, but they are far from all, as Mod Jack told us there will be many phases of development, and we will have a lot more buildings in the Fort the coming 2 years.

They previewed the new Catapult. Of course, they aren't going to spoil the story by telling us who we will be fighting, but it will be a surprise we are going to build new catapults without fighting. Rest assured, there will be combat content sooner than later. So it is not far fetched we maybe looking at building troops and weaponry later. Arsenals, barracks, food storages are likely candidates for next batch of buildings, and they probably involve mining and smithing, fishing, cooking and other skills.

New content is always nice especially when they can continually add onto it in the future. reminds me of Legos as a kid, build something in the beginning and always adding things to it.

Now i didn't see anything about this but what are they doing with lumberyard tele's? I assume there just going to rename them to fort tele's since the peng will spawn in the fort now

I think it is looking more like The Sims than Legos, especially when we have stories behind why and what we are building like why Sims wanted to build their Player Owned Island and a chapel so they can get married... and hey, RS3 actually had these player owned content befor The Sims 3 and The Sims 4.
