This is ridiculous. Theres a DXP every 2-3 months now.

And PS, the news post is almost identical to the previous one that accompanied the last DXP announcement. You could have tried to make it look like you care about the very real and concerning questions around having so many DXP events.

Jagex said they will hold 4 DXP weekends per year now, so it's not surprising for another one to be held 3 months after the previous one.

As for DXP weekend itself, I like that they're being held more frequently. I have goals of getting 120 in all skills and eventually 200m XP in all skills. I play for myself, not to compete with other players (Arch was an exception, as I aimed for a top 1000 rank, while still getting adequate 7 hours of sleep per night), so anything that speeds up those boring grindy skills is great.
Clue Drops -> 3a Range Top (h357), 3a Full Helm (h439), 3a Druidic Staff (e969), Barrows Dye (h1755, h2546, e680, e1567, e2038, e2160, m480, m783, m862), Shadow Dye (e510, e1970, e1985, h2948), Ice Dye (e1539, e2804), 3a Dye (e3129)

It is actually a good thing as Jagex said "Also, we are aware that there are lots of players who have recently returned to RuneScape and might not have had the opportunity to participate in recent Double XP events, so this will be a great boost to anyone playing catch up."

It is always a good sign when games cater to an influx of new and returning players. Now they said 4 DXP Weeks per year, perhaps it can be 5 or 6 a year months later when more and more new and returning players get attracted to RS3.

I rather like these new DXP weekends, my problem with this one is that it starts during the last 3 days of the beach.....would rather see the DXP weekend moved to the next week, cause you know we are not going to get dxp at the beach those 3 days. Member of Wood knights

I love the DXP always have -always will. Jagex having changed the way the are done ( 48 hours game play rather than a weekend) has been the healthiest change they've done. doing them 4 times a year ensures that no one misses out on these events. Those not interested in xp gain can still play as they wish. Why would it bother you that those that want xp gain benefit from DXP? Among my player friends it becomes a fun time celebrating each others goals and accomplishments. I fail to see how DXP is detrimental to any one.

Nah theres still going to be ppl who miss out as you cant do an event for an online game that fits into everyone schedule.

So saying this is false.
