"In RS3, both Anachronia and Fossil Island are names for the same place. "Fossil Island" and "Kudos Island" are names that the Varrock Museum uses, but the way Jagex has been promoting it it seems like "Anachronia" is the island's real name. We've yet to see who calls it that in-game."

Anachronica and Fossil Island are definitely not in the same location. If you think for any untold stories Fossil Island has moved North from where it is, to North of Daemonheim in RS3 and everything on it changed, that's fine with me... or even better for the purpose of this thread, perhaps a hyphothesis based on lore why and how that happend will be good.

However, it is noteworthy that Anachronia and Fossil Island are not at the same place.

Who called Anachronia "Anachronia", officially Jagex the company does through Press Release. Various Jmods like Jack, Osborne, Kevin, etc also confirmed the name Anachronia in vids.

Alright, you're obviously trolling.

Nothing you've said makes any sense at all. You made a strawman argument. I didn't ask who gave Anachronia its name, I said that we've yet to see who in-game calls Anachronia by that name. Your reply was "Jagex, duh." Jagex doesn't exist in-game, that's not how that works. That's not how any of this works.

The top part of your post keeps asserting that RS3 Anachronia and RS3 Fossil Island are not the same place, when everything indicates that they are. Jagex has teased a massive summer update -- Anachronia -- and has specifically said that the boat being built in the Breaking the Storm event is to sail to Anachronia. In-game, the Breaking the Storm event declares that the boat is being built by Varrock Museum, to sail to Fossil Island.

Ergo, Anachronia is Fossil Island.

Of course, I've no doubt you'll reply with another logical fallacy, so let me just pre-emptively tell you not to waste your time. I won't reply again. :)

RE: Bik's Quest
This one is shelved for the moment for sure, but seems likely it'll be something coming in the next few years. Desperate Times kinda toyed with it before the Kerapac twist came into play after all.

RE: Two Small Favors
This one, among several others not mentioned here, seem to have gone the route of Vorago quest: GameJam projects that never got finished. The full list was Two Small Favors, Vorago quest, Raharni Wildcat/99 Hunter quest, and Desert Treasure 2. They all seem to have been shelved for the time being, if not outright cancelled.

RE: Sir Owen 2
Stu wants to make it, but has not been given the time. He's looking for ways to use the story in other content to shorten what needs to make it into this second quest.

RE: Floor 61 quest
We've had some lore teases as of late like in Children of Mah, but nothing concrete regarding them actually making the quest.

Hey! Thanks for popping by; It's nice to see you here. I really appreciate all the help!

I don't have time to update everything this precise moment, but I'll come back to it very soon.

That said, in summary, with regard to:

- Bik's Quest: Shelved, not cancelled.
- The Vorago Quest: Cancelled (someone else beat you to that punch, thank you regardless though!).
- Two Small Favours, Desert Treasure 2, and the 99 Hunter Quest: For this thread, I will be defaulting to setting things as "shelved" as opposed to "cancelled." Unless someone can confirm that a J-Mod specifically said that any of these have been outright cancelled, I'll plan to edit them into "Shelved Content."
- Sir Owen 2: "Shelved" then, not cancelled. Thank you!
- Again, with Floor 61, I'll keep it as I have it then, defaulted to "Shelved Content" unless anyone can say with certainty that it's been cancelled altogether.

Fat N Wacky, thank you in advance for not replying unless you want to discuss on topic why you think Fossil Island has moved north with everything on it change instead of just calling people names. :)

For whoever in the game called Land Out Of Time Anachronia, we just need to wait a few more days. I am sure next week we will find out. :)

Hid a flaming comment.

I think it's pretty clear in-game that Anachronia is Fossil Island though.

If it's location on the map has shifted, who's to say that some tectonic events hadn't led to it moving?

I'll draw a comparison between this and Hyrule. How many times have Death Mountain and Lake Hylia moved? They're the same places in the same Hyrule, but their location on the map changes/shifts between game iterations. Seems to be the same for RuneScape. :P

Thank you for the appropriate comment for an interesting lore/quest discussion, CM Brandon.

Sure, anything could have happened in a few hundred years. Lake Hylia might have moved in the Zelda series, so could Fossil Island have moved to its better modern time position with its evolved lifeforms.

It would be nice if we could learn the lore behind what caused the old Fossil Island to move and change to its modern time stat if it was indeed Anachronia. It would be utterly interesting... I would suspect The Law of Entrophy and Darwinism forced it to change. :)

For now, we don't know if there are going to be any quests on release of the new island.

While one could point to the stealth release of Curse of the Black Stone that tied together the 3 Elite Dungeons, there's no guarantee of that happening here.

Though I wouldn't be stunned if there was at least 1 "Tale of" the island or some miniquest related to it.

We know "to further explore Anchronia" we need 3 skills of level 50. That sounds pretty much like a quest to me.
