the new skill could be called Cosmology using the following skills:

Using existing content such as the World Gate.
This opens a vast potential of exploration and lore of the different worlds/realms/afterlifes "https://runescape.wiki/w/Category:Realms" as well as new potential skilling/Combat locations for every single skill such as much needed reworks for Woodcutting (including a new axe), Construction and possibly Agility.
It also opens up the potential of bringing more skills to 120 such as gathering, support and artisan skills in support of the new 120 max cape coming out: Mining (New ores), Fishing (new fish), Hunter (new things to hunt), woodcutting (new trees), Divination (New divination locations as well as new Transmutation) for gathering; Agility (rework, or if they want to continue the existing route add new agility training methods), Dungeoneering (can be incorporated in many ways, Slayer (new and harder slayer monsters as well as slayer masters), Thieving (rework or add onto existing route and add new thieving methods) for support skills; and Cooking (fishing/new foods), Construction (rework using the rework of woodcutting and other skills), Crafting (new crafting materials from slayer/Monsters), Firemaking (new trees to burn but I also think fire making should have a significant role further and should be reworked), Fletching (new arrows, bolts, etc..) , Herblore (new potions), Rc (new rune(s)), and Smithing (new bars for new armour).
It also opens up a mass amount of potential new bosses and content from the different worlds/realms such as: Tezcasathla; Hostilius; Jormungor; A new vampire/demon boss; A boss from different Afterlife realms such as the Grim Underworld (fight death himself?); a boss from the great forest afterlife in the folklore of the werewolves of Canifis; etc.... there is so much potential to have cosmology as the new skill in which they can incorporate new ideas and new areas.
