In yesterday's RS3 Q&A Livestream, Mod MIC mentioned this year's RS3 Christmas event will be a very special one. Looking back in the Christmas events of the last few years, there were mainly the same old Christmas Cracker and Christmas Advent events. So I am looking for something really different.

What special Christmas event do you think we will have in 2021? A quest like the continuation of the Clockwork Gnome storyline? A World Event... perhaps as crazy as Santa, the Snow Queen and the likes trying to help the World Guardian to defend Gielinor In Senntisten?

Any thoughts?

I am thinking the special Christmas event may contain the finality of the Once Upon a Time miniquest series.

Remember we have gone through the past and present with Relomia in the first 3 parts of Once Upon a Time. It is only logical to have the equivalence of Ghost of Christmas Future in Gielinor before the end of this year.

So... I am expecting Once Upon a Time - A Christmas Carol featuring the Future or last part of the Relomia RS20 Anniversary Questline.

I like this idea a lot -- though I'm not sure if they'll want to wrap up a miniquest arc with a limited time event. (They could, of course, release it as a permanent piece of content alongside the event, like the Violet is Blue quests)

One way or another, I feel like something focused around "time" is the only logical fit for the final update of RuneScape's 20th anniversary. Maybe it'll be more New Year's focused than Christmas focused? Varrock could have a countdown clock and a giant party ball to fall like New York has.

Once Upon A Time is a permanent miniqeust series, not a limited time event.

We probably will still have the usual limited time events like the Christmas Cracker but I am sure part 4 of 4 of the Once Upon A Time miniquests will remain a PERMANENT content.
