I’m looking forward to this years Christmas Event, I hope it’s a good one, the old traditional events pre 2012 were amazing in my opinion so hopefully we get something like the good old days

Well I for one hope they include the Christmas jumper from a few years ago that I should have gotten for participating the entire advent/event, but for some reason never got and didn't know about until like last year when looking at which jumpers I didn't have.

This is like the necklace that only certain Hati event found about a few years ago and made, which gives them some cool teleports, but that I also didn't find out about until years later.

I have been playing for over 15 years, but not all holiday event items are available even if you participate the entire time and it looks like you have completed everything for the event.

I'll have to see when it starts. Thank you for the info.

Well, I called it: it's another trashy grindfest event, this time throwing a bit of the Golden Dumpsterfire Hunt into the mix. Woop-dee-doo.

Jagex is dead to me and I never want to see them bragging about "legendary holiday events" in RuneScape ever again.

At least the OSRS team still understands how to make proper holiday events... RS3 may be my preference but I'm starting to rethink that with Jagex's crap decisions with it lately. ~

Well last year we got violet is blue 2 which was easily a legendary event. And who's to say there won't be any good events in the future.

Yeah, that event gave me hope that future events would get back to being what made RS holiday events so special but then we had 2021, a year meant to celebrate 20 years in Gielinor, and they give us a crapload of garbage grindfest events that are a poor excuse for holiday events. It's sad. ~

In case if you missed the Once Upon A Time RS20 Anniversary Quest series, I strongly recommend you to look at your quest log and start it. It is very entertaining and far more than just a 5 minute fetch-this-and-that holiday dumpster fire quest.

No. It is not a dumpster fire event in RS3. Not one that breaks the economy and delays everything to 2022.

Yes, I did enjoy those quests (though I felt like the finale felt very rushed and/or underwhelming for a finale).

And yeah, it pretty much is for everyone except those who enjoy skilling and have hours to sink into the game every day. ~

Good that you enjoyed this kind of quests like Once Upon A Time... then the question is why do you have a problem with the

extra bonus and optional

skilling activities the other enjoy to spend hours on?
