I actually agree all your statements against raising it to 120.

However.. Jagex are not going to go back through all the useless familiers and rework them all.

Easiest solution is to just raise it to 120 and introduce new familiers.

Not sure what it actually gives us though apart from a BoB that can hold more items and a upgraded steel titan.

120 Summoning just seems like an easy update to mask as looking like a big one. Have fun and enjoy the community.

Oh wow, is it too crazy to think that maybe my social circle is not oriented towards completionist mind set? Most of my clan mates are just going for max/max xp, its almost like its a skilling clan, yet there are some skillers who still wants to go for trim.

You were the one trolling on my thread, my thread is just for pooling of familiar ideas, not to debate whether 120 summoning is a good idea. Whereas the basis of your thread is to debate on the idea of raising the skill cap, which is exactly what we're doing. The poll was not for pass or fail, rather it was to rank priority of desired updates. It was polled 9 months ago, but I can't find the results. It was ranked around the middle, iirc. You are also proving my point even more. You are so caught up in your small little circles with people who go for trim or 120 that you think nobody has a different view or deserves a voice. If you are already 120 summoning you are predisposed to have a bias on 120 skills agenda.

And your thread of “ideas” doesn’t understand the definition of new content. New mechanics, methods, areas, etc is new content. Expansions to 120 skills as was done with slayer is not new content. We are not better or worse off by having 120 slayer, which makes it unnecessary. Same with summoning. If you want support for 120 sum create a thread to gather support. This thread is about not increasing the cap for summoning and by extension, other skills.

Thanks for the information. I do remember none of the polls passed 50% and were spread out around 20 to 30%. Just can't remember which ideas came first.

Just because you dont like it or theres not enough content for you, doesnt mean they shouldnt do it.

You are the ones not satisfied with current Jagex.

You’re complaining skills are too easy because of bxp so want to move the goal posts.

Well, in that case, quit playing on bxp or play th or make a new account and play ironman. You chose to play easy on non ironman mode and then complain content is too easy and want change.

- Summoning regardless if bxp or not, it is easy to level. Even when a player has no charms so to speak.

- Charms are easy to obtain and for most skills in Runescape (combat skills, slayer, invention(partly), ...) you already get or got them.

- Summoning is fast at the moment and only easier with new familiars.

- Assumption but: 120 summoning will indirectly make other content in runescape easier, faster and more fluid. (Think of teleportation for trim reqs, Chimp ice? More boosts for skills, ...)

Summoning familiars right now are great. Sure there are a few that are not used, but that's only a few & not every familiar need to have a great use. Good luck sorting out all familiars and give it a use. If you've been playing Runescape for a long time, you'd know by now that if:
A > Gets update
B < Becomes deadcontent

Summoning offers nothing more than longer gameplay for the ones that seek for it.
Don't like summoning past 99? Don't do it. That simple :) Hello Moto
