It is coming next Monday, to commence the new Construction Contracts update. And a 25% slash off the price of Gold Membership? Sounds like a very present surprise. I thought they would increase the price rather, given the huge success they have in growing the playbase - +121% weekly concurrent users over the last 52 weeks.

Gratz to Jagex for growing the playerbase and for giving a hefty discount for Gold Premier Club. I just don't think as many people would buy Gold Premier Club membership if they decided to hike prices due to the hardships people are facing thanks to Covid-19. I haven't been working since early March and have no desire to spend so much.

You underestimated the willingness and spending powers of the non-gaming customers to put their money on entertaining games like RS3 in lieu of movies and concerts. They will continue to spend even if they don't earn as much due to COVID-19. That's the reason Microsoft and such have hiked their prices of their gaming services. Kudos Chronotes to Jagex for offering Premier Club for as low as my grandfathered rate of $5 a month.

If you have a monthly subscription, it will always say monthly, it will just be paused until the year subscription is over.

I wish they would update their site to reflect all the subscriptions we have as well.
