Some really cool looking loot was revealed. Cannon upgrades, T85 Magic gloves that give boosts to Combust and Dragon's Breath, an upgrade to the Pontifex ring (no surprise there)... oh, and the game's first Tier 95 weapon, none other than the Staff of Armadyl itself (exclusive drop from the Hard Mode of the Kerapac fight). Not bad for the first part of the Dungeon, not at all.
I suspect this won't be the only T95 equipment we see from the Elder God Wars. The current combat meta is about to get very interesting.
An interesting thought is if the Staff of Armadyl is going to break into fragments for us to make a T95 weapon, is The Needle going to break into something for us to make something else?
If the Needle is going to break too, here come the last puzzle of Guthix's Prophecy - The Broken Needle.
That's a very good point. We've already had a taste of what the Shadow Breach he was worried about would look like as part of the lead up to the Elder God Wars, and we're actively trying to prevent The Great Revision now... it would certainly make sense from a storytelling perspective to add the threat of the third and final part of Guthix's prophecy at the same time. Bad things come in threes, or so they say.
