Since I'm an ol' fashioned skiller (the grindier, the better) I don't mind the +20 tasks.
But maybe for pvm'ers and bossin' people, it's a bit of a chore :|
Leveling +110 all skills and completing stuff here and there

I'm a more of a skiller, I've got 120 in all skills except attack, strength, defence and constitution. I've got 200 mill in farming and dungeoneering. I've already completed up to task 18 ( no skips used ) and I'll continue to choose the skilling option instead of skill/kill whenever I can. Its usually faster and involves doing something I like/don't mind spending time on.
The sheer number of yak coins needed to get all the new rewards is what I find disheartening. I've always completed every yak track and obtained all the rewards. I just about managed it during the last track but the amount of yak coins needed for new rewards was a lot lower for that track.

- You get 22 Yak Coins throughout the now 70 tasks.
- They added 180 Yak Coins worth of new rewards. 135 if you exclude the tradable capes.
- Assuming 71 and beyond are the same as the previous track, or 60 Skill and Kill, each task beyond 70 takes a minimum of 3 hours to complete.

To get all rewards, you would need to do a whopping 339 hours ( 474 hours when including capes ) of yak tasks beyond 70, NOT INCLUDING the time to get the original 70 completed.

This is a dramatic and egregious MTX ploy, through and through.

There are only 77 Yak Coins worth of new items. The other items aren't new at all. I had all of them from doing a previous Yak Track.

This Yak Track format is actually more rewarding. We still need roughly the time to get to T70 as we needed to get to T50 in the past. However, we get similar rewards for each tier as in the past. This means we get more rewards from both the free and premium tracks than previous Yak Tracks.

Even from the free tracks, we are getting 2 cosmetics, more than the last Yak Track.

2 more weeks for 20 more tasks. I mean that's doable with not too much more of additional effort.

Depending on the tasks it also could be a more convenient source for yak coins on the other hand, which can actually shorten the effort to get your things unlocked.

But then - will we now only have two weeks of break between 2 tracks or what?!

Ignoring the capes I see four pets for 4 coins each + an animation for 16. That's 32 total (so 10 repetitions of the infinite task), everything beyond that are old track rewards you missed out back in the day, which you also could try to get in future tracks. Albeit it still was more than dodgy they removed those things from the oddments store (albeit I do not know if you ever were able to buy the Iaia track things there).

The announcement of "Royal" pets, fancy armour etc. and they forgot to mention you only get that if you have a premium account. I'm not really impressed, seems like more and more it's gimmie money or you're a second class player. :( No reward for the players that have been around more than a few years. I know it's only pixels and cosmetics but that is entirely beside the point. NOT happy Jagex. :(

you don't only get if premium account, can spend 2 bonds to get the thing or just vip as per usual.

not sure why you don't know this by now considering since your a 2005 date on forums,

I do know that, my point is we seem to be paying for a lot more than we used to. I don't mind if people have money to spare, but not everybody does so it seems a bit unfair in that aspect. Any yes, it's only pixels, but I can still be ticked about it. lol
