So in the past couple that had the skill and kill option on all the last 10 or so were 100 units each. this meant a minimum 300 minutes, 5 hours of skilling. so are the new extra 20 used to spread out the climb to this or is everything 40+ going to be 5 hours each?

It's on the wiki already, they spread it out. Just an example of how they did it, comparing this year and last year it says the 20th task requires 50 this year. Last year it had already jumped to 70 at that point.

Also you are given extra days Feb. 27 to May 15 to complete

I personally enjoyed the two week break after dxp, as did my wife. Bit of unwind, cleanup the bank, she'd do a few quests on our alt, etc al etc. This longer one feels like pressure to "stay engaged".

Nah, think I'm off this merry-go-round...

may 15 is too short. it should end at may 31st to give more casuals enough time now that it's been extended to 70.

The announcement of "Royal" pets, fancy armour etc. and they forgot to mention you only get that if you have a premium account. I'm not really impressed, seems like more and more it's gimmie money or you're a second class player.

No reward for the players that have been around more than a few years. I know it's only pixels and cosmetics but that is entirely beside the point. NOT happy Jagex.

- You get 22 Yak Coins throughout the now 70 tasks.
- They added 180 Yak Coins worth of new rewards. 135 if you exclude the tradable capes.
- Assuming 71 and beyond are the same as the previous track, or 60 Skill and Kill, each task beyond 70 takes a minimum of 3 hours to complete.

To get all rewards, you would need to do a whopping 339 hours ( 474 hours when including capes ) of yak tasks beyond 70, NOT INCLUDING the time to get the original 70 completed.

This is a dramatic and egregious MTX ploy, through and through.

I'm not happy about having 70 tasks in the track even with the extra time. I've been doing the tracks ever since they came out so I already have all the previous rewards added to the shop
but
to get all the new rewards costs something like 77 yak coins! I don't like this change at all!
