My account is also a "pre" email account.
I have always used my Runescape user name and password to log on, I have never used my email.
I am trying to use the same email, that is associated with my runescape account. I always get mail from Jagex at this email, confirming my Premeire purchases, etc.
I am NOT getting the code to verify my email, to finish making a "Jagex" account.
It says it's ready to import my "correct Runescape account name" and, to type type in my email address and they will send a code.
I put in my email.... and, still waiting..... no codes today. I've done it 3 times.
Like I said, I'll get them after I go to bed tonight, since I'm in The States.
This is so frustrating. Especially the part about being talked down to, like you're stupid and you're just "doing it wrong"
I know what I'm doing and, I'm doing it right.
It's not working.
I never receive the email code, until many, many hours later.
There are daily emails I receive, that are working as normal.
Jagex is the only one having a problem.
