Supposing there is a bad storm in your area which results in your internet being down for two days. Sure, that would be unfortunate, but should Jagex compensate you for the disruption? No, of course not. That would be ridiculous.
Even if Jagex was open to the idea (which they shouldn't be), you know certain individuals would report having "outages" just to get free compensation.
Player: "Jagex! My internet was down all last week! Free stuff plox!"
Jagex: "Didn't you post on the RSOF three days ago?"
Player: "You saw that, huh?"
