Hello,

I just cancelled membership on two accounts. The message displayed immediately after cancellation told me to come here to elaborate on cancellation. I only play OSRS, but the Runescape 3 battle pass update has me no longer wishing to maintain membership.

Why? There is nothing worth playing left in OSRS? Already eliminated in FOMO DMM? Anticipating more MTX added on top of OSRS Bond, maybe like Leagues Pass, given Jagex may have a new owner by the next League?

why would you unsubscribe based on RS3 updates when you play OSRS ?

I have the same question. If you are primarily an OSRS player, how would this affect you?

I know some players who aren't happy with the frequency and quality of updates in OSRS recently, and decided to take a break from OSRS. They know it will be unpopular opinion to quit because OSRS is not hugggeeee, so they just find an excuse and point the finger on RS3 they don't play. I don't know if this is also the reason with OP.

What? The OSRS players I know stop playing OSRS not because of MTX reason, but frequency and quality of OSRS updates sorely. They don't even play RS3 just like OP.

OP, didn't you check the latest news on Hero Pass? RS3 listened to the community and now we have most of what the community wants, including both Hero Pass AND the original Challenge System.

Well, I know, I know... there is still nothing in OSRS so if your actual reason of cancellation your membership is because of OSRS... I understand... but it should still be good for OSRS players who care about RS3 and Hero Pass to know of the new changes.

A quick search for financial statements came back with OSRS making slightly more just on subscriptions than RS3 does with both subscriptions and MTX combined. So...no...
