But basically you could probably comp all
rs3
updates in one month membership whereas before I paid 3.50 and had a never ending game.

Unfortunately OP doesn't play RS3. They play OSRS and it is going to take much longer and perhaps years to just max OSRS, not comp.

Ye. I was maxed too. After I quit cos of sof, I'd just buy a bond in game whenever there was an update and play it so I lost my £3.50 grandfather rate cos I was continuous member from like 2006. The take over of MTX being called updates and seeing every update drowned in mtx.
I played old skl day 1 though. I won't be logging in for a few years I don't think. I haven't till recently for like 3 years.

Yours is a story I've seen over and over, personally witnessed with some real life friends, and was my cause as well. At the time it was an insult to all of the hours spent "training" our characters. After 7 years I no longer cared about that, saw that legacy mode was back, and decided to try it out again. Wife did the same.

If we quit again, and the crap with our alt has us thinking about it, we won't be back.

Ye I remember you.
I've got a few alts.
Sadly they banned my main that was the same account I played osrs on so I would've gone there but I cba starting over there again when the company is on a downhill slope with no light at the end of the tunnel.
But ye couldn't care less about the rs3 accounts. The osrs pissed me the fk off ngl.

Wife and I tried OSRS but just couldn't...It was a two part problem. #1 we both despise the person to person trade thing, GE was the best update ever and it wasn't out yet. #2, ticked off starting over from a maxed account.

We would have continued membership if they had let us transfer our stats over.

Oh I loved osrs until they put bonds in and it became obvious half the people wanted to make it 2012 so I wasn't going to play old school with Jagex selling gold then.
I just played the updates and observed the deterioration of rs3.
Shame it was a good game once. Had some decent updates sometimes. This week's update is apparently no update.

And ye dilbert ino he quit osrs cos hero pass.
Genius if you ask me.

Shrug! You have to ask OP. We have all kind of theories on why OP quit OSRS but they are all just for academic discussion. The crystal clear fact is not paying OSRS doesn't seem to be bothering OP, so they quit.

That's because when I suggested they added the bit about coming to the forum's I said just explain why, I didn't say they had to give themselves brain damage talking to you.

Btw someone should get.my quitting thread. It's framed on Jagex wall.

Well, IIRC quitting threads are (or were) not welcome in the RSOF, but this is not my call to make.
