Elder trees. You get to chop them for 5 minutes straight without issue, unlike every other tree that can break in literally one tick if you happen to succeed at chopping and its a one log tree.

You then have to wait 10 minutes before being able to chop them at all, meaning having to travel to another out of the way tree. Even at 98 with full sentinel, dragon hatchet with honed 4 and legendary lumberjack going I still cant break a porter 4 on a single elder.

So they are the most kind tree, letting you chop in peace, and the most annoying, telling you to get for twice as long.

Think of Elder trees as woodcuttings version of a herb patch, or Priffdinas thieving. By the time you've done an entire circuit you should be ready to begin again.

Nothing in this game is out of the way. You have teleports to everywhere. there are no groves of elders, they are out of the way trees. every other tree has places where you can chop at least 2.

My usual route is:
- Varrock lodestone
- Yanille lodestone
- Edgeville (before log boxes, I banked here)
- Port Sarim (recharge summoning points for beaver on the way to the tree)
- Repeat (before log boxes, I banked at Priff before heading back to Varrock) Glad to be of service :) (Powered by GPP™ - Share and Enjoy!)

In my book "out of the way" is running several minutes through the world, not 7 seconds from a lodestone to a tree.
