do you have preferred pronouns to be used instead? considering this is the topic. as op is wanting prefered pronouns in game.
Where does the OP call for this? I see no such request. If this was included in what was edited, maybe the OP had a change of heart.
Personally speaking, I believe players should identify their characters however they wish to. It doesn't affect anyone else's game. Where you lose my support would be if other players had no choice but to visibly participate in these fantasies under threat of penalty if they do not endorse whatever is being promoted.
If your character build uses the basic male body complete with a beard, but wears a plateskirt and you envision that character as a female, that's your right. This is a fantasy game, after all. You do not have the right to force me to address you as a female. Your freedom of speech is as important as mine. It is not more important.
If Jagex ever decides to start policing pronoun usage, this would be a great incentive to simply not talk to anybody in-game at all.

.
Well op doesnt like the fact npcs refer to op as "they" im guessing there is a pronoun op would prefer. Therefore op is advocating prefered pronouns. Which is a good idea
EDIT:
its good idea as then if you wish to change the pronouns you can and be happy. if you dont want to then well dont it wont effect
them
at all.
If these NPCs are instructed to automatically use the character's current gender form when speaking with the character (as bankers do), that would seem to be the simplest solution.
Alternatively, if Jagex feels it is important enough to add a toggle or setting option that allows a player to select which pronouns NPCs will use when talking with them, that would also be fine by me. If it makes the player happy, without affecting any other players, everybody wins.
Again, where I would take issue with this being added to the game is if it were to be forced upon players. I do not mean forced to choose pronouns. I mean forced to check someone else's preferred pronoun settings before speaking with them, then being forced to use the desired pronouns or risk being punished - perhaps muted for hate speech or something along those lines. That is not a game I would want to play.
To be clear, I do not see how something like this could be enforced against players. If it was added, I can promise you I would not be examining anyone to check their pronouns. I would just not talk to anyone in-game, aside from my friends. Chatting is not mandatory.

I think an option to have preferred pronouns would be really nice although I don't mind they
