Sure, sometimes it is easier, but just as accurate to use "they", especially in places such as an online forum, where someone's gender may be unknown to others. Using "they" is just a less clumsy way of saying "he or she".

Some people insist on using "they" all the time, though - even when it is not appropriate.

Here is a joke which shows how ridiculous this pronoun insanity has become:

A man and a woman are on a first date at a restaurant, after matching on a dating site.

Man: "It is nice to finally meet you in person."
Woman: "Thank you. It is nice to meet you as well."
Man: "You look amazing. That dress looks great on you, and I really like your hair that way."
Woman: "Thanks! I really like your suit."
Man: "Thanks. So, what time will the other girl be joining us for this date?"
Woman: "Other girl? What other girl?! Why in the HELL would you think another girl will
be joining us on our date??!!"
Man: "According to your dating profile, your pronouns are 'they/them'."

Truth through humor. I've been putting out fire with gasoline! ^_^

good job. as you can see using they/them works in general.
its also how using they the way its used in game is fine.

idk why you bring up autism though. this has nothing to do with that.

its literally just the usage of the word "them" we are talking about. and in game it is used correctly.


either way it seems op does want prefered pronouns to come into game.
