Why? Nobody else uses my account that's why we have all these security measures and stuff. Is it a language thing? English is not my language but this doesn't make sense from what I have learned.

Its not really a problem but it is extremely confusing and strange, is there a setting or something to fix this?

fix what?

"they" is a general way people can be referred to. and always has been

"hey look over there, they are playing on the swings"

this is 100% correct english. so there is nothing to fix

The singular ‘they’ is the use of the third-person plural pronoun they with a singular meaning – i.e., to refer to one person without using ‘he’ or ‘she’.

The singular ‘they’ has existed for hundreds of years, but it was long condemned as grammatically incorrect. Now, it’s recommended by most style guides and dictionaries as the best choice when you need a gender-neutral singular pronoun.

You can use the singular ‘they’ to refer to:

A generic individual whose gender is unknown or irrelevant in the context
A specific person who identifies as neither male nor female (or whose gender is unknown to you)
200m all RS3 on 7/3/19
1.2Billion overall Slayer xp / Ultimate slayer title

OSRS 2277/2277 Untrim slayer cape
Hail Satan, He loves for who you are.

It's actually very rude bad manners in English.
If you called the queen that she'd chop your bollocks off. If you ain't already done that.
You're basically implying that "he / she / they / him / her / them" are swear words.

Yes, it can be rude to use these terms in certain circumstances. However, without knowing the exact situation OP is in, we can't tell if the phrasing is used in a rude manner.

In terms of the English language, Tenebri is correct. "They" is a perfectly acceptable term to use - particularly when you don't know the specific gender of the person you are talking about.

She's been dead for a year, are you suggesting that she might return as an axe-wielding Zombie?

Support for an axe-wielding zombie Queen!

She could break up cabinet meetings by swinging her mighty weapon and yelling "WE. ARE. NOT. AMUSED!"

That would be one hell of a way to cut governmental waste. :D
I've been putting out fire with gasoline! ^_^
