Great day. Dad just bought me $138 shoes.
Nice. I need new shoes. Time to hit Giant Tiger up for some $20 Airwalks.
Yeah dad buys me things I need not what I want. I needed new quality shoes because my old ones have holes in the sole and the front toe part.
That's not good for the health of your feet. If you want to keep being able to use your feet in the future good shoes are a need. Hopefully, you won't have to wait until there are holes in your new shoes before replacing them.
I just got new shoes too, which were badly needed, ANNNDDDD I've had no problems with them which I've always had <- such a bonus
and they are so very comfortable and I'm about 1/2 an inch taller XD

Just mentioning it for anyone who prefers practicality over looks, patrol boots last for fucking years and they're specifically designed with walking in mind - depending on what you're looking at.
I bought two pairs years ago thinking they wouldn't last my first pair lasted for 4 years until the soles gave out and they can take a beating more than any other sneaker type shoes.
If you wear your clothes normally meaning you don't tuck the tongue over your jeans etc. like an idiot these look like regular old shoes to the average person and not boots. They're also designed to feel like sneakers but have the added benefit of ankle support etc. I used to have steel toe cap CAT boots
(think I still do but can't mind where they are)
but decided to opt for a much lighter and practical option for most normal situations as steel toe caps are more for specific scenarios.
^Just google those boots, and they have a wide range of boots priced from $180NZ up to $325 on the page I was looking at.
Thanks, Daibhi for this information. A few years back I was being interviewed by a police officer and I asked him about his shoes as they looked comfortable and durable and he told me the name of them and such and I forgot, I'm not sure if they are the same boots you mentioned or not. I have problems with shoes and anything that helps is a bonus <- less pain is good.

You get what your pay for,
usually
haha. I think you can find those specific boots I linked on amazon if that might help find cheaper prices but I'm not a wizard when it comes to price conversions of every world currency heh. If you're looking at that website specifically go for the most normal looking ones because it does sell military grade accessories etc. beyond just boots, so it has camo boots as well.
Not sure what New Zealand's police force wears so couldn't say but I have noticed these boots being worn by British soldiers once or twice although it was a few years ago. I can definitely attest for them being comfortable as I've actually fallen asleep with them on once haha. I'm very likely never going to go back to normal shoes after these.
The soles are replaceable as well I think, pity I didn't know that at the time my first pair gave out. Other than the fact a dog chewed the nylon section near the ankle on one boot they held out for a year or so more up until the soles threw in the towel.
Was looking up something on RS.wiki when a photo of Mod Breezy came into view - What a sweetheart - definitely made my heart go aflutter and his smile, just picture perfect
what a honeybunny <3

Yes, I saw the soles being sold in the site
@Daibhi - found these on the site and I thought I need these sneakers, they sound amazing, waterproof, built to last bla, bla, bla and only for $80NZ - sadly sold out
