Yeah, OSRS' strong point is the grind. If you like long grinds, then OSRS appeals more to you. It's one of the reasons why I don't play it. I just can't be bothered putting that much time into getting levels any more.

The combat is also dreary as well. Combat is a big deal to me. I've always been combat first, skilling second. RS3 just does it better imo.

Yup, exactly my reasoning as well. I like grinds but only to a certain extent. I enjoy being able to see myself actually progress lol :P

Have you never watched B0aty or Woox streams? Combat can be exciting if you do Woox methods. I'm assuming you expect things to be as they were in actual 07 or 12 but now people actually utilise the niches in old combat.

There's a lot of cannon and burst oriented tasks now so Slayer is quite a breeze compared to what it used to be.

I used to watch Woox' streams. It's just not appealing enough to make me sit through the tedious OSRS grind. I just don't want to spend my time doing those type of grinds any more. I would not enjoy it.

It's why I don't find myself playing RS3 any more either. There's many things I could still do on my account (i.e. chase comp or drop logs for example). I just can't be bothered because it's just grinding and it's not something I seem to enjoy that much any more.

I'm probably slowly losing interest in Runescape as a whole. It's what seems to be happening. As my desire to grind wears away, my interest in the game as a whole wears away too. I used to be someone that would find any reason to play. I would always find some goal once I finished another.

I never thought I'd see the day where it would just die. I thought I'd always be playing this game, but so far it looks like that isn't going to happen. I just can't find any reason to play.

It could be "burn out" or just me needing a long break though, so I guess we'll see. The RS3 team don't seem to be doing much in the update department. If that continues, it's going to be a long time before they manage to draw me back to the game.

Is it me or have I 1 too many spiders.

Medium pen says 4. I have 4 and 1 egg. Not seen that before.

Anyone else had this and if so is it normal or a bug?

i believe the egg that you are seeing is the bug. it happens with dragons also and is under "invisible egg" i cant remember what the bugged egg is for spider.
