We the forumers have been asking for a new general chat for a very long time now, I even asked Akhet a little while back if she could make a new one and she said no intentions of doing so.
I said this previously, since this is a chat thread, it a forumers area for all to enjoy, for all to maintain and keep friendly and enjoy - I feel it doesn't belong to anyone but the forumers as a whole. When you create a thread it's up to you to maintain it, try to keep it from going of the rails, and to keep it friendly with the help of moderators at times of cause. Akhet hasn't been apart of the general chat thread for years and years, she pops in occasionally and this also tells me her heart isn't involved in this thread. But the heart of all forumers that enjoy it and are apart of it should have a say on the thread, which we did over the months and more recently a thread was made asking for a new general chat thread and YAY the forumers were heard and a new Chat Thread was created.

I've hidden a post - the post for the most part seemed to be disrespectful towards someone and very much targeted, and ultimately seems to be wanting to incite some sort of drama which probably is something best not had on the forums.
The chat lounge has always been a place for fun, lighthearted discussion. It certainly would be nice to see it get back to that point again.
