Not sure if this would come under general, but oh well.. recently persuaded an irl friend to move away from rs3 and come to osrs.. he's downloaded Runelite, not installed any plugins just using it for the UI.. leveled up some stats across most skills.. he bought membership, ran through almost all the the f2p quests and got banned.

He's since made a second account for the same to happen.

Now he's on his third new account and I guess we're just waiting for them to ban him at this point.

Doesn't bot, doesn't macro, just gets on with the grind.

I started to fall out of love with the game again recently and started to ask myself why I'm even paying irl cash for membership anymore but having an irl friend to play with got me back on.

I've personally used runelite for the longest time and I've got 0 offences. It's just quite laughable that he's getting banned for macro (major) for I guess switching from runelite to mobile and back? I know the banning algorithm is miserable at best, but come on. Only wants to play a game he grew up playing 😅😂
