Alrighty, so this is something I've had an idea for already in a different context
but
I don't have the resources for it, so I figured I'd pitch it here.
So for a while, I've thought up ideas for a smartwatch app that uses game mechanics to encourage you to work out, go outside, go on walks, etc. I initially thought that it could be a dating sim that allows you to buy new coaches/romantic interests through a point system or microtransactions. But today I started watching Tubby's IRLocked series and thought that it might also be a cool concept to merge with my idea.
Maybe in the similar way that Melvor Idle lets you level up a separate character in a vacuum, you could download the app onto your smartwatch and different workouts logged by your watch could translate into different skills. Quests could be integrated through some mission system and food logging could also count for something. Not sure about the specifics. Like I said, I get ideas that seem cool to me but 1.) I have no technical know-how and 2.) Maybe this isn't as interesting as I feel it is. But as you progress through the game, your progress could be shown through your main OSRS or RS3 character, telegraphing to others how much you've been touching grass lately LOL.
Anyway, I just figured I'd throw this out into the void and maybe someone could pick up the idea somehow (include me in this somehow if anyone does pick it up?
). I need something fun in my smartwatch to get me moving more. Hopefully, this is interesting to others as well.
