You can log into the forums from simply going to lobby, from game, then clicking a news post! I thought I'd share this tip for anyone (like me) who was logging in manually each time. Bob says:
A bank PIN will keep your items secure.
Always check the second trade screen.
Never trade in the Wilderness!
Keep your computer keylogger-free and virus scanned.
Never give your password out to anyone.

Same thing can be accomplished from going to the message center in the lobby and logging in. Also if you have a Jagex account from the main page hit login the SSO automatically logs you in for the 30 days. Before you have to reauthenticate in the Jagex launcher. But that's only from the homepage doesn't work from other spots on the website.

From in-game, open up clan details (underneath social; assuming you're in a clan) and if your clan has a thread within the forums (mine does) and the link displays on the vex, it takes you to that thread and signs you in. From there, just navigate to the forums. Very happy I discovered that on my own :P . - (Owner) Ornery Onions -
