I've run into the Crocodile Tears glitch. That's common enough that it earned a mention in the Wiki, so no point in reporting it. I went and got the dowsing rod, left the temple, rod map pointed north. I went north, and I went north, and I went north, finally encountered a cliff. Thought maybe it was pointing at Het's Oasis, so teleport to Al Kharid, and north, and north, yeah no luck. Went to the Wiki, says it's a bug, not sure how I triggered that but OK. Destroyed the rod, returned to the temple, fetched the rod, went to talk to Senliten, went through that dialogue 'cause I know some things are sensitive to completing the full dialogue, then turned to talk to Leela, she guided me out, activated the rod, it pointed north. I went north, and north - but the wiki says it should have been the oasis just northwest of the mastaba, which by now is south of me. So, destroyed the rod, went through the whole sequence again, again Leela guides me out, map's pointing north. Tried exiting and re-entering the game, no joy ... but when I went through the sequence again and entered the oasis despite the map pointing north, I triggered the correct dialogue where I say it isn't right. Now I'm supposed to be looking for the other oasis, which the Wiki says is south of me near Sophanos - but the map is pointing north. Ok, I'm thoroughly glitched and have no idea how to unglitch it. I might maybe be able to complete it despite the glitch but I'm not sure and a bit scared to try lest it become unrecoverable. Any ideas?
