I've always found it ironic that one of the arguments for OSRS was that RS3 was "too easy", and yet a client was introduced to make OSRS easier. I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with accessibility features, but their usage often comes at a price such as reduction in rewards. If introduced officially, this should be the case and the third-party client should be banned. Sadly, I don't think this is going to happen any time soon.
There is really nothing right or wrong with 3PC unfair advantages. It is not all black and white. As I mentioned, it is an integrity/ethical issue. Jagex own and operate OSRS. They set their own rules within their own domain, so when they allow some players with "unfair advantage" it is still fair game. Now, suppose when run OSRS in some esports events then they will have to do everything according to the rules of the esports leagues, then I am 100% sure such unfair advantages will be outlawed,
OSRS and RS3 simply have double standards on such integrity/ethical issues. It is on the business decisions of Jagex toward the 2 different games.
Whether we should allow similar "unfair advantages" in RS3 is really a moot point, as such 3PC plug in won't work on RS3 anyway. Nothing really to discuss.
