I was wondering about OSRS because I keep seeing videos where they have these grids on the floor that that's like green/red or yellow/red that shows you how to dodge boss mechanics amongst other things and I'm assuming that it's okay to use because of how many videos I've seen using it, kind of like Alt 1 I'm guessing, but what I don't understand is why I haven't seen one for RS3, it's such a shame and that would be such a nice benefit to the game especially for people who really suck at bossing lol

That feels like cheating. Why should the game tell me exactly what to do when the most fun (and intended) part of it is to find out solution for your problems? :)

We can't do it in RS3 because it is considered cheating in this game. It is also cheating in almost all the over 9,000 similar video game under the sun.

We can do it in OSRS because it is not RS3 and all the over 9,000 similar video game under the sun. It is a matter of integrity and ethical standards kind of issues. OSRS prefers to have lower ethical grades compared to other over 9,000 similar video games, in return for higher "population".

LOL you can't call it cheating if it's allowed in the old game that's kind of the dumbest thing I've ever heard, if it's cheating it should be banned everywhere but if it's allowed on OSRS it should be allowed on RS3, it would get a lot more people bossing that's for sure.

Jagex make the rules in their games. RS3 and OSRS have different rules:

When they don't allow such cheating OSRS allows in RS3, then it is not allowed.
